On Giving, Grappling and Going

While it is a bit on the “long” side by blogging standards, it seems fitting to wrap up a week’s worth of reflections on “giving” with the Commencement Address that Craig Thompson delivered to the University of Maryland’s Class of 2010.  Craig is an exceptional lawyer and a gifted writer and public speaker. He also happens to be a friend with important words for all of us to live by.* Enjoy!

*Offered in loving memory of Chuck Davis who embodied these principles (and many more) in his every day life and, in doing so, humbly and, I suspect, quite unknowingly, “taught” me and others the importance of selfless giving.
